Why do you care?
You care because local news is your forte, it’s what you live for. We want to help you share the great stories that your readers care about. The stories that show your impact on the community and why local news is what is really important to people.
The Fuller Center for Housing of Los Angeles is a covenant partner of The Fuller Center for Housing, a non-profit founded in 2005 by Millard and Linda Fuller – the same couple who founded Habitat for Humanity. After the enormous success of Habitat, Millard and Linda found themselves wanting to return to a more grassroots organization, so the founded a second non-profit – The Fuller Center for Housing.
Currently there are more than 64 US based covenant partners and 19 international covenant partners.
The Los Angeles partnership launched in 2014 and completed its first family build in February 2015. Our territory of service is the entire Los Angeles/Orange County region with a special focus on the Long Beach area where 22.8 percent of residents live in poverty. There’s a lot of work to be done here.
The great stories of what we do for our partner families are found on our Projects page.

We have larger resolution images in our Photo Gallery.
And no press kit would be complete without some information about the founders of The Fuller Center for Housing on our Mission page.
